Hi! I'm Alex

First of all, thank you for looking at my portfolio. I'm glad you are taking your time to get to know me.

Let's get the generic stuff over with so I can talk about some cool stuff. I was born on October 19 1992, which makes me 29 years old. I completed a higher cycle of video game development that I finished in 2016, later I specialized in the programming branch and started working at VISYON, an innovation company.


Since I was little I have had a passion for video games, being a gamer for many years from the distant PS1 until I started developing video games in a self-taught way when I was just 13 years old.


Both in the most professional part of my career and in the most passionate (game jams and other personal projects) one of the facets that I have tried the most to promote has been teamwork, always trying to improve cohesion between colleagues and increase the efficiency of the processes for a healthier and more productive work environment.


As part of my work at VISYON I have worked on projects involving new technologies and devices:
- AR:  ArCore(Android), ArKit (iPhone / iPad)
- MR:  HoloLens, Magic Leap, Epson Moverio
- VR:  Htc Vive, Oculus Rift(CV1 & S), Oculus Quest(1 & 2), Valve Index, Pico G2, Pico Neo, Oculus Go, GearVr, Cardboard and Daydream
- Other:  WebGL, Kinect, Arduino, Leap Motion...

For my part I have researched and learned a lot about the Unity engine such as render pipelines (URP and HDRP), CPU and GPU optimizations, lighting and baking techniques, animation management, development of tools to accelerate and facilitate projects, creation of frameworks (AR and VR)...
